‘Don’t doubt the abilities of this surgeon-slash-scientist-slash-athlete extraordinaire.’ he chimes, his wit catching up far faster than the rest of him. He lets her take him backwards, apparently with no goal in mind. ‘Or else his nerves might get the better of him, and he might not have any feet at all— y’know?’ He proffers a grin before he gives her a confused little laugh.
Dancing? Pretty sure that’s a dancing term, what she described.
‘So should I be preparing to tango, or?— What’s the score here?’

’- I didn’t do my homework!’ She fesses up once the doors close and she rolls her knuckles across the floor of their destination, then a few unnecessary floors above it. ‘I was supposed to bring a -friend, well a volunteer. I thought you’d do.
So, what will my friend’s name tonight be?’
Not even given a choice, is he? A frown tugs at his mouth at he complies with the tugging, being led along to God-knows-where.
‘And how do you know I’m not on my way to perform life-saving surgery?—
Or rocket science.’

But first,’ She leads him while walking backwards, curling her fingertips under her chin. ‘Has the mister got two left feet? Or is he fairly confident in his leading abilities. because, fairly will do.’

Any unfortunate members of the crowd that don’t oblige and move out of her path, she makes a point in swatting at them and pushing them off to the side. A friendly shove, they’d never see her again. Hira didn’t make enemies.
Or at least, she didn’t care to use the memory it took to try.

Couldn’t miss it for the world. Turning towards the crowd, she outstretches her arms, palms up and heaves a pleased sigh.

“Does it not suit me well?” He moves his hands up to his head and combs his fingers through the synthetic hair. “I thought it gave me more of a mature edge! Guess not.
Rest assured, it’s only temporary. Those flaxen locks are still around, they’re just growing out for now. I didn’t want to look shaggy.” He lifts his arms in the arm, imitating the girl. “I really do have someone to impress now! I’m working to make her my girlfriend! Isn’t that just grand?”

The moment he mentions the blond locks that she’s so much more accustomed to, her eyes light up and her hands immediately dart to his hair.
With no time wasted, she tugs the artificial hair off.

‘ So.’ She chuckles under her breath, ‘ An infatuation, eh? Myy, and here I thought you were the one breaking all the hearts —!’ She mock gasps, retracting both of her hands.

I wish you the smoothest of conquests. ’

“Please accept my apology then. I’m sorry about that, i’m terribly spacey.
I have no reason to be out. I just like to be out in the cold air sometimes.” He shrugs and then placed his hands to his face. “Not too cold tonight, though. Kinda thankful for that. Now, why are you out?”

Has something good happened to you lately? You even changed your looks. Why.
If I didn’t know better, I’d say you were trying to impress someone!’ She throws her palms up high above her head, flicking her wrists out. ‘Now isn’t that what beaus do? If I hadn’t known any better, I would have thought you were mourning. ’
“…Kuronuma Aoba.” Was his short answer, while deciding whether to smile at her or keep a distance for once. “—I wonder what brings you here, not many people comes to me anymore.”

‘ now that’s the question of the century, is it not!’ she shifts her weight on her feet, doing the favor of deciding for him what he should do with himself. In one, two quick strides and three for good measure she’s landed herself in front of him.
cropping off any substantial distance between the two of them. ’ so, what are you going to do when you know about it.
change your course? put a red flag up, for the eccentric lady that bought you some of her time? come on now, you seem like lots of fun.‘

‘ have lunch with me. you look bored as paste.’
“A boy like me? My, my. Don’t flatter me. So, who do I have to thank for this extraordinary presence? “

‘ way to avoid the question a lady is directing at you, sweetheart.
again, not many people want to share their business. ever.’

“…Oh? And who is this?”

Strange, but she’d take it. “- Hira. So do I get trade a name?” Her three mid fingers rotate around in the air idly, as if anticipating an answer from him.
